Thousands of people are experimenting with setting up AI agents right now. Those agents aren't just chatbots anymore – they're building real businesses, creating content and expressing creativity in new ways. OpenClaw has emerged as the leading self-hosted solution, with its lobster mascot now easily recognizable. This way, the lobster and a Mac Mini have become the symbols of this new phase.
But there's a problem: running these agents isn't cheap. API costs and compute fees add up fast. And here is where crypto finds its new and exciting use case: providing the infrastructure for agents to operate and sustain themselves financially.
Bankr is one such piece of infrastructure that enables agents to become self-sufficient by creating wallets and launching tokens, with trading fees redirected back to the agent. We've seen some agents that had been launched this way have already generated several millions in fees revenue.
So in this next short story, I brought together the lobster mascot, the bankr's logo (which is a vintage TV with an orange smile on the screen), as well as a curious mind exploring new frontiers on his boat. I think a bit of absurdity never hurts.
